●The new SpaceNXT™ HC Series of product is tested to meet the space orbit environmental criteria and is offered in a high-volume solution that leverages the Smiths Interconnects space heritage to improve reliability and performance over a QPL or COTS product. This series is supplied with all the necessary test and qualification data to ensure flight compliance at a low cost of ownership.
■Smiths Interconnect's HC-CXH Series of outrigger resistors and terminations use a patented layout to provide improved power handling and add high reliability over conventional surface mount solutions. Additional solder pads (outriggers) allow these products to dissipate significantly more power through the extra thermal paths (up to 50%).
■When properly matched in a 50 ohm system the HC-CXH series have proven broadband performance characteristics. To aid RF designers in achieving the best possible performance Smiths Interconnect offers recommended mounting guidelines with PCB layout dimensions attachment materials and temperature profiles.
■HC-CXH series is well suited for a wide array of RF applications and markets. Smiths interconnect offers multiple footprint, power handling and material options, resulting in design flexibility and adaptability.
■The CXH series are manufactured using robust thick film technology. The products are screened based on MIL-PRF-55342 to ensure long term Hi-Reliability. Flight units come with 100% group A screening with optional Group B and C qualification.
