8170 ULTRASONIC LEVEL SENSOR Instruction Manual
■The 8170 ultrasonic level sensor is designed to work with the 8175 ultrasonic transmitter available in a panel or wall mounted version. The sensor function is to transform the electrical signal into an ultrasonic wave which is emitted from the base of the sensor and to detect the ultrasonic waves reflected by the surface of the fluid. A temperature sensor is built into the design of the 8170 for temperature compensation.
