Apex Tech Alert – Products with Increased Quiescent Current (Iq)
■Certain Apex devices manufactured after 12/17/2013 (Date Code 1338 or later) have higher maximum quiescent current (Iq) values than their datasheet specifications. This is due to the replacement of an obsoleted component inside those devices. See Tablel for affected device models and their old/new Iq values. See Fig. 1 for Date Code identification.
■Apex is in the process of redesigning the device to accommodate replacement component, returning Iq to original values. This process is expected to be completed before 12/17/2014.
