●The NXP quad motor-control application is a FreeMASTER project developed to demonstrate the i.MX RT1050 crossover processor capabilities to operate real-time multi-motor control applications. The FreeMASTER project allows you to control an embedded application, such as real-time motor-control application, using a graphical environment running on a PC. As such, it offers a user-friendly real-time debug monitor and data visualization tool that enables runtime configuration and tuning of embedded software applications.
●The NXP quad motor-control application project consists of two software packages:
■A MCUXpresso project, which contains the implementation of the application logic to manage the motor-control features for i.MX RT1050 crossover processor.
■A FreeMASTER project, which provides a graphical user interface for real-time debug monitor and data visualization.
●The bring up of the NXP quad motor-control application consists of these steps:
■Program the NXP quad motor-control application into the NXP quad motor-control development platform hardware, explained in Section 3.
■Run the NXP quad motor-control FreeMASTER project. Section 4 details step by step how to setup the project and establish connection between the FreeMASTER and the board.
■Evaluate NXP quad motor-control FreeMASTER project. Section 5 contains an introduction to the main features of the NXP quad motor-control FreeMASTER project and how to evaluate it.
