●WR-FPC: Flexible Printed Circuit – ZIF Connector
ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) connectors have become increasingly common in several applications, especially when connection to a small display ( or keyboard is required ZIF connectors were developed in order to meet a combination of requirements such as low profile, light weight and a secure and removable connection They can be used to fasten wires to a printed circuit board inside a piece of electronic equipment this is called a one connector solution.
On a printed circuit board, ZIF connectors shall be used with flat flexible cables as counterparts.
To connect the cable into the ZIF housing, open the actuator, insert the cable according to cautions and warning and close the actuator to ensure a firm connection.
