To develop premium power supply for data centers, which requires space saving architecture, there are no cooling fans or heatsink, a surface mount MOSFET was mounted to PCB directly, it need such a component to conduct heat generating from MOSFET through Drain terminal to ground plane show below, meanwhile the drain terminal can’t electrically connected to ground. Initial NBO value was $345K.
We offer AlN substrate thermal jumper which provide high thermal conductivity and electrical isolation.
