RS9116W SAPI Porting Guide

This document explains the steps and procedures to port Simple APIs(SAPIs) library to a host platform.
RS9116W software release package provides SAPI library to facilitate user application development. This document describes APIs which are needed to be ported on host platform to use RS9116W.
Particularly HAL and OS layers should be modified as per the Host Platform to be used with RS9116W.
Hardware abstraction layer(HAL)contains platform specific functions like drivers/timers etc. which are supposed to be ported.
OS abstraction layer contains the OS specific functions which are supposed to be ported as per the RTOS used for user applications. This is not required when using bare-metal applications on host.
Below figure shows high-level architecture of SAPIs with 'OS Abstractions Layer' and 'Hardware Abstraction Layer' and how host can be interfaced with RS9116W.
