RS9116 wireless connectivity products are a family of SoC's and modules providing a comprehensive 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi and dual-mode Bluetooth 5 wireless connectivity. The RS9116WiSeConnectTMoffers a full network offload option for embedded systems with low-end host microcontrollers running an RTOS or bare metal OS. The RS9116W connects to a host MCU using UART, SPI or SDIO interfaces. A complete set of wireless, networking and security stacks run on the RS9116W device, however the networking stackcan be bypassed if required. Communication with the host MCU is achieved with AT Commands, or alternately a simple binary API referred to as SAPI. Also, the software supports the Multi-Protocol Co-Existence Manager, Power Manager and Host Manager entities.
