【PCN】Silicon Labs Addendum to 200428769 Acquisition of Redpine Signals' Connectivity Business Product Change Notification (200728825)
●Description of Change:
Acquisition of Redpine Signals' Connectivity Business.
●Reason for Change:
This Addendum is being issued to PB#200428769 to include top marking format changes for modules to Silicon Labs' format. Please refer to Appendix for details.
On April 28, 2020, Silicon Labs completed the transaction to acquire Redpine Signals' Connectivity Business. The integration of Redpine Signal's products into Silicon Labs will result in a few relatively minor changes as described below:
1. Existing customer purchase orders shipped beginning on April 28, 2020 will be fulfilled and shipped by the same manufacturer, with additional ship-from location as shown below, but done so through the Silicon Labs ERP system.Silicon Laboratories International Pte. 2. The Redpine Signal labels will transition to Silicon Labs standard labels as inventory is depleted.
3. All boxes, reels, trays, and moisture barrier bags will transition to Silicon Labs standard materials as inventory is depleted.
4. The commercial invoice (pro forma) and packing list will change to Silicon Labs standard format starting April 28, 2020.
5. The Redpine Signal product top marking will transition to Silicon Labs standard top marking format as inventory is depleted.
6. Redpine Signal part numbers will transition to new part numbers to accommodate Silicon Labs Enterprise software (SAP) and all new orders for these parts will reflect the new part numbers.
