SSI Technologies - Application Note FT-AN9 Fluid-Trac® Focus Tube Adaptor
The Fluid-Trac® Focus Tube Adaptor (FTA) is designed to be mated to SSI Technologies, Inc. Fluid-trac unit with 5 bolt mounting specification. FTA will fit on tanks with SAE J1810 bolt pattern.
Product Features:
● Service ability: If mounted to tank at time of initial installation, sensor can be removed with little overhead clearance while leaving tube in place.
● Angle Performance: Increases angle performance of sensor from +/-6 ̊ without tube to +/-15 ̊ with tube.
● Configurable Tube Length: Available in 1” length increments up to 32” for a variety of applications. Longer tube lengths can be manufactured with SSI product engineering approval.
● Robust Design:No adhesives used to connect tube, allowing for wider range of media compatibility
● Optional Float: Used for applications with extremely high vibration levels or mounting angle exceeding 15 ̊. Use of float to be approved by SSI product engineering.
● Chemical compatibility: FTA works with a wide variety of media including gasoline, diesel, ure a (ADBLUE)*, oils , hydraulic fluid, & water.
