SENKO的SN®-MT16封闭式适配器提供1端口（16光纤）或4端口（64光纤）变体。单端口设计用于BASE-16到Base-2转换等应用，适配器放置在光纤管理卡盒或面板的后面。4端口版本旨在在密集型跳线面板或活动设备中最大化端口密度。SN®-MT16，4端口适配器由于其紧凑的尺寸，允许用户在跳线面板和光分配框中实现最高的可能密度。在1RU（机架单元）中最多可以展示3,456光纤，受限于电缆管理和连接器访问限制。这些适配器在每个端口上都有集成遮光板，减少了灰尘和灰尘进入的影响，并为用户提供了一定程度的激光保护。当连接器插入适配器时，连接器的主体（不是 ferrule）将遮光板推开，以便 ferrules 可以引导到适配器中。封闭式SN®-MT16适配器可以插入面板切口或使用适当的螺栓和螺母（带法兰型）固定。采用集成固定法兰的适配器需要在每个切口之间留出额外空间，并且每RU的最大密度可能会降低。
