What is a Voice Chip?

According to the output mode of the voice chip, it is divided into two categories, one is the PWM output mode, and the other is the DAC output mode. The PWM output volume cannot be adjusted continuously and cannot be connected to ordinary power amplifiers. At present, most of the voice chips on the market use the PWM output method. The other is that the DAC is amplified by the internal EQ, the voice chip is continuously adjustable, can be adjusted by digital control, and can be connected to an external power amplifier.

The playback function of the ordinary voice chip is essentially a DAC process, and the ADC process data is completed by the computer, including the sampling, compression, and EQ processing of the voice signal.
The voice chip includes two processes, ADC and DAC, which are all completed by the chip itself, including the steps of voice data collection, analysis, compression, storage, and playback.
