TMR sensor Technology Achieves High-speed Operation, High Reliability, Outstanding Jitter Tolerance for Motor Control and Speed Sensing Applications.

SAN JOSE, Calif. and ZHANGJIAGANG, China, August 2, 2016 -- MultiDimension Technology Co., Ltd. (MDT) announced TMR3101, the first digital magnetic rotary encoder featuring Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensor technology. The TMR3101 is a 10-bit high-speed rotary encoder with multiple absolute and incremental output interfaces. It is an ideal choice for motor control, rotary position, and speed sensing applications including robotics, drones, smart meters, liquid level meters, smart door switches, and electrical toys, offering users enhanced ROI with accurate angular position measurement and relaxed requirements for the design of the magnet and mechanical structure.

"MDT's new TMR3101 is the first digital absolute magnetic encoder product available on the market based on TMR technology. The TMR3101 offers new alternatives to existing magnetic encoder products with high reliability and outstanding jitter and air-gap tolerance, thanks to the unique technical advantages of our TMR technology. Based on MDT's in-depth expertise in the design and manufacturing of TMR sensors along with a strong IP portfolio, we are fully committed to providing greater value to customers. We offer a comprehensive set of product and service options, including TMR sensors in standard packages, wafers or bare-dice, custom package or module design services, or application solutions," said Dr. Song Xue, President and CEO of MultiDimension Technology.

Key Features of TMR3101 Absolute Rotary Encoder

●360-degree contactless measurement
