Provide bidirectional conversion of serial data.

LTE Modem provides serial communication interfaces, including RS232, RS485, RS422, and other commonly used serial communication methods. Most of the designs of Lte Modem convert serial data into a "transparent conversion" method, that is, Lte Modem can communicate with the original data without changing the content of the original data. The original data of the serial port is converted into TCP/IP data packets for transmission. Therefore, the Lte Modem can be connected to various user devices using serial communication without modifying the user devices.


During the communication, the mobile gateway will disconnect the Lte Modem from the center. Heartbeat packets are small packets sent by LTE modems and data centers before they are disconnected to prevent disconnection. Support automatic reconnection and automatic disconnection, redial and other functions.


Support parameter configuration and permanent storage.

As a kind of communication equipment, LTE Modem has a wide range of applications. In different applications, the IP address, port number and baud rate of the serial port in the data center are different. This feature allows the Lte Modem terminal device to support parameter configuration, and the configured parameters can be stored permanently, mainly in the internal permanent storage device, such as the common FLASH or EEPROM. After the user turns on the system, the LTE Modem will work automatically according to the set parameters.


Most Lte modems are connected to industrial equipment, such as PLC, SCM, and other automation products, and then establish a wireless communication connection with the background.
