For 5.5V to 15V applications: The system input voltage is directly applied to VCC12, and the HV-Buck module is not needed. In this case, it's recommended to ground the CSR pin (PIN5).
For 15V to 100V systems: The system input voltage is applied to the VIN of the HV-Buck module (PIN1), with VCC12 as the output from the HV-Buck. VCC12 powers the chip's internal 5.0V LDO and provides power to the external pre-driver chip.
