Kendeil Develops New Modular Film Capacitor K7F Series with High Energy Density and Withstand Voltages up to 900V
Kendeil is proud to announce the development of a new modular solution based on metallized polypropylene capacitors technology.
The increasing industry demand of capacitors with higher and higher specific capacitance and at the same time the necessity to have a product that is as limited in volume as possible, has pushed us to create a modular capacitor in film technology with high energy density and capable of withstand voltages up to 900V.
Intended as a stand-alone, plug and play solution, the modular film capacitor K7F series will allow customers to not use anymore expensive bus bars, lowering also the assembly costs.
Applications: Design on purpose for DC filtering and DC-link circuits for EV/HEV. It can be suitable also for general purpose high power industrial applications.
Main electrical properties: Dielectric: Metallized Polypropylene Film, Voltage Range: 450 to 900Vdc, Dissipation Factor: ≤ 0.002 @100Hz, Operating Temperature Range: -40 to +105℃. Insulation resistance: ≥10000s @25℃, 500V, 60s. Failure rate ≤50FIT. Voltage test between terminals and case: 3000Vac @50/60Hz for 10s.
Main features: Metallized polypropylene film, enclosed in cylindrical PPS case with UL 94-V0 certification. Automotive Grade AEC-Q200D. Reference standard: IEC 61071. THB Grade IIIB.
