Energy Storage System (ESS) plays a key role in the era of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation, where the demand for optimizing production processes and for a sustainable approach continues to grow.


Connections dedicated to battery systems must be designed to handle high load capacities and enable integration with the existing electrical grids while achieving operational effectiveness and reliability.


Modular connectors are among the key choices for ESS for many reasons such as scalability, flexibility, and simplified maintenance. To answer these needs, the MIXO range by ILME now counts new solutions for such applications which join the already available 200 A modules, following the innovation goals of modernity.


MIXO MODULES 300 A

High-current connectors featuring 300 A and 1000 V ratings, available in two variants:

Crimp version for silver-plated contacts: double frame slots modules for phase and PE connection. Two sizes: 01 (regular), for 16 mm2 to 70 mm2 wire cross-section conductors, and 01B (large), for 95 mm2 to 120 mm2.


90°-angled screw version for cable lugs terminals: double frame slots modules for phase and PE connection designed with a special insulating plate and snap-in closing cover to provide an effective 360° finger-proof capability.


THERMOPLASTIC DOCKING FRAMES

New thermoplastic docking frames (CX xx PDF/M) for blind-mating connector technology, suitable for direct panel mounting (both on the fixed side and the floating side of the coupling) without hoods and housings, replacing the traditional metal frames. From 2 to 6 module slots.
