New Launched: JD086 Low Loss Semi-Rigid Fixed Coaxial Cable with Signal Transmission Rate High as 81%
The JD series is a semi-rigid cable with a seamless annealed copper tube coated with ternary alloy as its outer conductor. Due to the enclosed structure of the shielding layer, the cable has the best shielding performance and the smallest outer conductor loss.
In terms of electrical performance, the signal transmission rate is as high as 81%, the temperature phase stability is less than 500PPM, and it also has the advantages of low loss and high shielding efficiency.
In terms of mechanical performance, it has strong tensile strength and bending fixation formability, but during use, it should be prevented from causing damage to the outer conductor due to too small bending radius and secondary bending.
In terms of environmental resistance, cables have strong environmental adaptability and are generally protected with different coatings according to specific usage environments.
As a type of coaxial transmission line, semi-rigid cable has been widely used in mobile communication, military radar, electronic countermeasures and other systems due to its unique structural design and excellent electrical performance.
Among them, JD086 Low loss semi-rigid fixed coaxial cable, as a member of the semi-rigid cable series, occupies a place in the field of high-frequency signal transmission with its specific diameter (usually 0.086 inches) and excellent performance characteristics.

The structural design of JD086 cable takes into account the requirements of rigidity and high-frequency transmission performance. The usual components are divided into:
Central conductor:
Usually made of silver plated copper with a diameter of about 0.51mm. The silver plating layer improves the conductor's conductivity and oxidation resistance, ensuring signal transmission's stability and efficiency.
Insulation medium:
The insulation layer is made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material combined with wrapping technology. Its low-density form effectively isolates the central conductor from the outer conductor, preventing signal leakage and interference. The thickness and uniformity of the insulation layer are crucial to the cable's electrical performance.
Outer conductor:
The outer conductor of JD086 cable is made of a seamless copper tube with a diameter of about 2.2mm. The outer conductor's design not only provides electromagnetic shielding but also supports the cable's overall shape through its rigid structure.
Protective layer (if required):
Some production processes increase the wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and flame retardancy of the cable by adding a protective layer.
The technical parameters of the JD086 cable are important indicators for measuring its performance. The following are the main technical parameters of the cable:
K1=1.70681 K2=0.00055
Attenuation at any other frequency point=K1 * sqrt (fMHz)+K2 * fMHz; dB/100m
