[Overview and Design Intentions]

In recent years, growing numbers of Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) and In-cabin Monitoring Systems (IMS) have been integrated into vehicles. For these systems, in 2023, HOSIDEN developed the In-vehicle Coaxial 2-pin Connector series for the vehicle in-cabin cameras used in these systems, and these products have since been under consideration for system integration.


To be added as a new variant of the combined connector series, HOSIDEN has developed a right-angle (RA) type receptacle that allows horizontal connection to the board.


This product continues to provide the compact, robust, and excellent transmission and EMC characteristics of the existing In-vehicle Co-axial 2-pin Connector series. Also, it is compatible with any plug*1 in the same series so that customers can select optimum combinations according to their boards or housings.


 *1: Straight type and L-type versions from the In-vehicle Coaxial 2-pin Connector series are available.


Also, other custom combinations can be made.
