Kendeil Develops New 3-Phase Aluminum CAN Film Capacitor with Screw Terminal Blocks, Providing with a Delta Connection

Kendeil is proud to announce the development of a new 3-phase aluminium can film capacitor with screw terminal blocks, provided with a delta connection.

Whenever there is the need to correct the power factor to compensate for inductive loads, especially in high power devices and for industries' power consumptions, customers can now use KENDEIL's newest 3-phase aluminium film capacitors. Equipped with 6 connection points (screw terminal block) with a Δinternal connection, KENDEIL's  K5F capacitors can be directly connected to the input power line. The stud termination option is preferred if customers need to mount the capacitors on a heatsink and also to prevent capacitor movements under vibration conditions. This new series represents also a cost and space saving solution, allowing customers to mount only one 3-phase capacitor instead of 3 single phase ones.


Applications: Designed for industrial applications such as power factor correction in 3-phase systems and harmonics filtering at the AC output of large inverters.


Main electrical properties: Dielectric: Metallized Polypropylene Film, Voltage Range: 230 to 850Vac, Dissipation Factor: ≤0.002@100Hz, Operating Temperature Range: -40 to +85℃, Reference Standard: IEC 61071.


Main features: Metallized polypropylene film, enclosed in cylindrical aluminium case and filled with soft polyurethane resin. Equipped also with an overpressure disconnector device that automatically disconnect the capacitor from the rest of the circuit whenever a high internal pressure is generated.
