Knowles Precision Devices has a long history in radio frequency (RF) and custom discrete passive components. Knowles' rich heritage in variable and trimmer capacitors comes from Voltronics and Johanson and Knowles' expertise in High-Q multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) is supported by DLI and Syfer.
Since Knowles manufactures Knowles' own tooling, we can stand up an assembly for custom products, including baluns, air-core inductors, and custom RF connectors with no outsourcing. Knowles Precision Devices’ in-house tooling and fabrication shop ensures that components and assemblies meet exact specifications for manufacturing. Consistency and efficiency are crucial for holding tolerances, polishes and surface finishes. Knowles' dedicated team has a variety of competencies including arbor press tooling, bend/forming, punch and cut, nesting, and Rockwell hardening.
