How to Choose DC-DC Converter Factory, How to Choose High Quality DC-DC Converter
What is a DC-DC converter?
A DC-DC converter, also known as a DC-DC converter or DC transformer, is a circuit or electromechanical device that converts electrical energy. It can convert direct current (DC) power to DC power (or approximate DC) of different voltages. Its power ranges from very low (small batteries) to very high (high voltage power transfer). The output voltage of some DC-DC converters has the same reference point as the input voltage, while the output voltage of some DC-DC converters is isolated from the input voltage.

DC-DC Converter Inductor Selection
The process of selecting an inductor for a DC-DC converter depends on many parameters. Depending on the power levels involved, these inductors can be quite large and may need to be designed for your system. In addition to the required area, the following specifications are also important. You need to consider the choice of DC-DC converter electrical sensors:
Rated current and coil resistance. The coil itself will have some DC resistance, which will generate heat and reduce some voltage across the inductance. Coil resistance should be as low as possible to prevent power loss. Also, the current rating will depend on the physical size of the inductor package; winding sensors are used for high power converters, while foil electric motors can be used for low power converters.

saturation current. Ferrite sensors will have some saturation current, which will saturate the core than saturation current sensors. This will cause the next switching cycle to lag. The inductor should be chosen so that the saturation current is greater than the maximum current required by the system.
inductance and frequency. All components have parasitic effects. Parasitic capacitances between windings and coil resistances can cause the system to self-resonate. In fact, the self-resonant frequency of the inductor is usually very high, so it doesn’t matter unless you intend to use a PWM signal with a very fast edge rate and a frequency around MHz.
DC DC Converter Inductor Selection and Inductor Type
Finally, and least important is the inductance value. The required inductor value depends on the topology you use, as this will determine the function the DC-DC converter needs to perform.
