SLKOR‘s Optocoupler 6N136 Provides a High Level of Isolation up to 5000VRMS and Comes in a DIP-8 Package
Optocoupler, also known as opto-isolator, is an electronic component that can isolate and transmit signals between light and electrical signals. It consists of a light-emitting diode (LED) and a phototransistor, which are used to isolate input signals and transmit them to the output through light. Today, we will introduce SLKOR Semiconductor's product - Optocoupler 6N136.

SLKOR Semiconductor's product, Optocoupler 6N136, is a high-speed and high-isolation optotransistor optocoupler. It utilizes an AIGaAs infrared emitting diode as the transmitter and combines it with a phototransistor housed in a plastic DIP8 package. Compared to traditional optotransistor optocouplers, the 6N136 offers a significant speed improvement.
The 6N136 has several advantages. Firstly, it operates over a wide temperature range, from -55℃ to 100℃, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. Secondly, it complies with REACH regulations, ensuring it does not cause environmental pollution. Additionally, it provides a high level of isolation, up to 5000VRMS, effectively isolating input and output signals to ensure system safety.
The parameters of 6N136 also demonstrate its superiority. It has a VCEO (Collector-Emitter Voltage) of 30V, IC (Continuous Output Current) of 50mA, VR (Reverse Voltage) of 5V, IF (Forward Current) of 25mA, and comes in a DIP-8 package. These parameters hold significant importance in different applications as they ensure signal stability and reliability, improve system speed and accuracy, and protect the circuit from reverse voltage damage.
For example, the optocoupler's ability to handle a current of 50mA makes it suitable for applications that require high current output, such as motor control or LED lighting control. Additionally, the high output current of 6N136 can enhance system speed and accuracy.
As an excellent performance optotransistor optocoupler, 6N136 finds wide applications in line receivers, telecom equipment, and pulse transformer replacement. Its high voltage withstands capability, larger output current, reverse voltage protection, and convenient packaging make it an ideal choice in many industries.
In line receivers, 6N136 enables the isolation of input and output signals, ensuring system stability and reliability. In telecom equipment, it can be used in fiber optic communication and digital circuits to enhance system speed and accuracy. In pulse transformer replacement, 6N136 effectively isolates input and output signals, guaranteeing system safety and stability.
