With the accelerated pace of work in the city and the increasing pressure of work, there is an increasing demand for portable physical therapy products, the most common of which is the neck massager. There are two types of neck massagers: low-frequency pulse type and mechanical massage type, most of the massagers on the market are low-frequency pulse type, which can be divided into EMS pulse, TENS pulse, and EMS + TENS combination of three.


Currently on the market Neck Massage Instrument, mostly use MCU programs for constant voltage electrical stimulation, but the use of constant voltage source output stimulation has many problems:

1. Can only output voltage waveforms, and can not control the charge density, resulting in ineffective stimulation or wrong stimulation;


2. The stimulation has reached the upper limit, but the charge density is insufficient due to the change in muscle impedance, and the activation of the muscle motor unit is incomplete.


3. The most important thing is that the constant voltage source cannot achieve charge balance, so there will be residual charge accumulated in human tissue, and there is a risk of damage to the skin/nerves/muscles.



The Nanochap Nanoanshen NS4 chip adopts constant current source stimulation, with a total of 16 gears to support 0~57.6mA output stimulation, precisely controlling the charge density, effectively stimulating the target nerve fiber or network; through the current source and current absorber to form a push-pull structure, to achieve a biphasic current waveform output, so as to achieve charge balance.
