The more dynamic the industries become, the more the need to simplify electrical connection processes increases to keep up with this continuous evolution. In this scenario, fast and safe handling is significant especially when speaking about demanding applications, while easy-to-use products help to minimize the risk of error at all the phases.


AXYR® termination technology by ILME is designed to suit these requirements for any type of installation, matching the high-density typical crimping performance with the immediateness of a straight, spring push-in connection.


The existing 16 A range of AXYR® products is widened by the new CQEY series, including standard or double-inserts sizes (part number CQEY… N), intermateable and combinable  – when uncoded – with their corresponding CQE crimp models. Together with the CQY inserts, the possible configurations are therefore extended from 5 up to 92 poles fitting compatible enclosure up to “104.62” dimension.



The tool-less wiring, reliable and quick, which is the AXYR® strength, performed by a simple push of the cable into the actuator button, does not require any special operator’s skill.


The main characteristics of CQEY products also include:

covering the cross sectional area from 0.25mm² to 2.5mm² for prepared flexible copper wires, to 4 mm² for unprepared solid or flexible copper wires;

resistance to mechanical stress and vibrations;

additional coding of the mating faces is possible by means of the CR Q08E coding pin.
