Greenconn’s New RAST Connector Solution with Cable Compatibility
GREENCONN's newly released RAST compliant PCB connector solution with cable compatibility includes the 2.50mm pitch LZZG109 series RAST Connectors and the applicable wire AWG22-AWG24, providing customers with a complete RAST connection solution for a variety of home appliances, automotive applications, industrial equipment, and other wire-to-board connectors and control devices.
The popularization of industrialization requires the wiring harness processing and manufacturing to be more fully automated, with less wiring errors and simplified wiring production, which has driven the emergence of RAST standard connectors. Greenconn's RAST connectors utilize insulation-displacement technology (IDC), which enables direct crimping to terminals and is ideal for both semi-automated and fully automated production with high efficiency in manufacturing. Meanwhile, these connectors are glow wire compatible (GWT 750℃), which guarantees a high level of additional safety.
In addition, this type of connector provides keying options for foolproof purposes, which avoid mismatching. Based on customized requirements, these RAST connectors come in a variety of sizes, color-code systems, assembly positions, solder pin layouts, and plating options to help customers quickly implement their R&D design and save costs. The LZZG109 series launched this time around is the upgraded version of the previous RAST connector solution, which not only carries the past relevant advantages but also offers custom-made wiring solutions, as well as pins options from 2 to 17.
