Micron N25Q Serial NOR Flash Products Available Direct From Alliance Memory

Alliance Memory announced that the company is now the authorized source for genuine N25Q (AT25S / MX25L / MX25U / W25Q / S25FL / SST25 / EN25 / GD25 / IS25) 1.8V and 3V Serial NOR Flash devices from Micron Technology, Inc., which Micron discontinued Micron PCN #32163 (last time buy: March 2018). Micron is still building these parts specifically for Alliance Memory, and under a special agreement with Micron, the company will continue to support them through 2021 and beyond.

The Context: Micron’s N25Q series products are high-performance multiple input/output serial Flash memory devices manufactured on 65nm NOR technology. They feature execute-in-place (XIP) functionality, advanced write protection mechanisms, and a high-speed SPI-compatible bus interface. The innovative, high-performance, dual, and quad input/output instructions enable double or quadruple transfer bandwidth for READ and PROGRAM operations.


Alliance Memory is committed to meeting its customers’ legacy component needs and has had great success working with Micron to provide continued support for a variety of devices, including 512M SDRAMs and 8G DDR3L SDRAMs. The company is continuing that success with these N25Q NOR Flash parts, which will provide its customers with a steady supply for a minimum of two more years. In addition, Alliance Memory announces a full line-up of other Flash devices in Q3 2020.
