Although many of the drive motors in cleaning robots are brush motors, they are now increasingly being replaced by the highly efficient, small, lightweight, low-noise, long-life brushless DC Nidec motors.
In particular, brushless blower motors are capable of absorbing dust during high-speed rotation. Thanks to this feature, our motors have already been employed by several manufacturers. The wheel motor is another useful application suitable for the downsized Brushless DC Motor. Nidec offers not only the motor units but also design work up to the point where the motor is connected to the wheel. Motors inclusive of the unit design are available for customers. The handy cleaner is another similar use application. A smaller motor body provides space to assemble the battery. Brushless DC motors are increasingly replacing brush motors with this advantage.
