●Dielectric Resonator Oscillator
■The following pages contain the specifications for Spectrum Microwave stabilized signal sources. Shown are basic free-running oscillators, oscillators with electronic tuning that can be modulated or phase-locked by the user, and phase-locked oscillators using both internal and external reference sources. The Spectrum Microwave line of stabilized oscillators is designed for use in systems requiring high frequency stability with low phase noise, low microphonics, small size, and low power drain. Typical applications include microwave radio links, satellite terminals, radar beacons, transponders, ECM receivers, BITE oscillators, and frequency synthesizers. The following paragraphs discuss the general characteristics of these oscillators.
