Epson IMU Gseries & Vseries Epson IMU_48x_49x Interposer Board User Manual
This document describes the Epson IMU_48x_49x Interposer Board (referred to as EI48x_49x). The purpose of the EI48x_49x is primarily for rapid prototyping and evaluation of the Epson Gseries(M-G320, M-G354, MG364 or future compatible) and V series (M-V340) IMU in a hardware environment already using the ADIS1648x or ADIS1649x series IMUs.This is especially useful in a laboratory or development environment.
The EI48x_49x is a simple board that has similar outline dimensions and a connector interface compatible with the ADIS1648x series or ADIS1649x series. It routes the compatible connector signals to the appropriate signal pins of the Epson IMU.
Features:
●SMT socket 10x2 1 mm pitch connector Samtec CLM-110-02-L-D(mates with Epson G-seriespin compatible IMU)
●SMT socket 10x2 0.4 mm pitchconnector Panasonic AXE120224 (mates with Epson V-series pin compatible IMU)
●SMT header 12x2 1 mm pitch connector Samtec MW-12-03-G-Dseriesconnector similar to the ADIS1648x series or ADIS1649x series
●Compatible PCB Outline and mounting holes similar to the ADIS1648x series or ADIS1649x series
●Compatible power, ground, and signal routing between the SPI interface of the ADIS1648x series or ADIS1649x series and the Epson G-seriesor Epson V-seriesIMUs
●SMT test points for debug purposes:+3.3V, GND, UART_TXDO,and UART_RXDI
