60 kW SiC BooSt Converter

The 60 kW boost converter targets high efficiency and high-power density applications. A typical application in the solar industry
would convert the PV panel output (470V – 800V) to a higher DC voltage (850V), which could then be utilized by an inverter to
generate 480VAC to feed into the power grid. This demo showcases the new Wolfspeed C3MTM MOSFET (C3M0075120K, 1200V SiC
MOSFET) which comes in the new low-inductance TO-247-4L package which reduces switching losses. This demo also features
the new Wolfspeed CGD15SG00D2 isolated discrete gate driver which is tailored to the drive requirements of the new Wolfspeed
C3MTM MOSFETs.
