MAX487ESA是一款由+5.0V供电的RS-485/RS-422收发器，具备±16kV ESD保护功能，能够在上电或热插拔时消除总线上的瞬态故障信号。该系列具有热插拔功能，MAX487ESA具有低摆率驱动器，可以减少因终端匹配不当的电缆引起的EMI和反射，实现高达500kbps的无误数据传输。MAX487ESA适用于半双工通信，具有低功耗关断模式、1/8单位负载的接收器、DE和RE采用热插拔输入结构，可连接至总线上的多达256个收发器。它采用8引脚DIP和8引脚SOP(SOIC-8)封装。
