TMYTEK has developed the BBox™ One, a compact development tool designed to facilitate 5G beamforming developments and tests. It features 16 channel RF control, a standard antenna kit, and API software control via an Ethernet interface. The BBox™ One is crucial for mmWave functions, offering phase and amplitude control through Ethernet. It includes RF components like T/R switch, LNA/PA, and phase shifters, along with a standard antenna for 5G beam steering. The tool is designed for the 5G n260 band and supports up to 16 controllable RF channels with options for 4x4 or 8x8 series patch antennas. Each channel provides 360˚ phase shifter coverage, 15 dB attenuation range, and T/R half duplex operation.
