The Quick Braid Desoldering Braid is a specialized tool used for rework and repair of printed circuit boards, computers, cell phones, and other electronics. It is designed to easily remove solder from components or pads on a circuit board. The braid is made of clean, oxide-free copper wire, which is concentrated and fine, utilizing less length of wick for each desoldering application. It features a tight weave that enables quick "on and off" desoldering. The product is available in 5' and 10' lengths on static dissipative bobbins, compliant with ESD Association Standard. It leaves an environmentally safe residue and uses flux classification type L0 per IPC J-STD-004B. The wire specifications include various widths and configurations, with details provided for A to E wires. Each bobbin is individually stamped with a lot code and comes with a certificate of compliance.
