The 356M is a compact AC mΩ meter designed for measuring resistance and voltage of specimens. It features a multi-scanner capability, allowing automatic scanning of specified channels (CHs). With the expansion unit 5811-71, the 356M can measure up to 40 CHs. The measured data can be transferred to a PC using utility software. The meter is capable of measuring cell voltage and resistance of rechargeable batteries and fuel cells. It offers two outputs for upper comparison judgment and uses the AC Four-Terminal method for resistance measurement and Δ-Σ method for A/D operation. The meter has a resistance range of 30mΩ / 300mΩ / 3Ω and an open terminal voltage of 20mV peak or less.
