The TPMC470 is a 32-bit PMC module that provides four channels of high-performance RS232/RS422/RS485 programmable asynchronous serial interfaces with front panel I/O. Each channel is isolated from the system and from each other. The module supports RS232, RS422, and RS485 interfaces, with programmable termination for RS422/RS485. It features 64-byte transmit and receive FIFOs, programmable baud rates up to 921.6 kbps for RS232 and 5.5296 Mbps for RS422, and ESD-protected transceivers. The TPMC470 is compatible with 3.3V and 5.0V PCI I/O signaling voltage and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
