The Relcom Fieldbus ComTool (FBT-9) is designed to establish communications among Foundation Fieldbus devices without the need for a Distributed Control System (DCS), facilitating early checkout of wiring and devices. It is ideal for early Fieldbus checkout, reducing commissioning time by eliminating wiring and device issues beforehand. The FBT-9 is suitable for contractors to verify Fieldbus wiring and device installation, skid manufacturers to ensure correct installation before shipment, and for functional testing of Fieldbus segments before site delivery. It can be paired with an FBT-6 diagnostic tool or F809F Fieldbus Diagnostic Module for enhanced functionality.
