The Radisys Management System (RMS) is an element management system designed for the Connect Open Broadband solution. It offers a single pane of glass (Web GUI) for service management, subscriber management, device management, fault handling, and performance metrics. The RMS provides workflows for operations, administration, maintenance, and provisioning of the Connect Open Broadband solution. It interacts with Operations Support Systems (OSS), Business Support Systems (BSS), and drives configuration and control towards the Connect Broadband Access Controller (CBAC). The RMS architecture includes an interface tier, application tier, mediation tier, messaging tier, and data tier, with features such as fault management, event management, KPI management, and data aggregation.
