HYBRID SOLID STATE RELAY MODEL 3817 Form C (SPDT)

The Model 3817 is a high voltage/low resistance solid state relay with a single pole, double throw (SPDT) configuration. It features a Form C (SPDT) contact in the same package, two isolated unconnected switches for connection flexibility, and contacts that break before make for safety. The relay uses Wide Band Gap semiconductors for low resistance and a magnetically coupled command for fast response. It is available in rugged hermetic packages and is compatible with TTL logic levels. The specifications include a bias input voltage of 4.7 to 5.3 VDC, a bias input current of 30 mA typical, and a power dissipation of 10 watts at maximum rated case temperature. The relay operates over a wide case temperature range and has a weight of 32 grams typical.
