System Sensor Model 6424 Projected Beam Smoke Detector is a smoke detector designed specifically for protecting open areas and high ceilings. It is suitable for applications such as garages or warehouses, providing early warning and surpassing the capabilities of traditional point-type smoke detectors even in extreme temperature environments. The detector consists of a transmitter and a receiver, with independent alarm and fault signals, and can be powered separately or together. It has a protection range of 30 feet to 330 feet, a wide operating temperature range (-22°F to 131°F), 4-wire 24 VDC operation, and includes a calibration test filter. It also includes ceiling and wall mounting brackets.
