The VME1683 series is a VMEbus card designed for converting synchro or resolver signals to digital outputs. It supports single or two-speed inputs and can handle up to three channels. The converters offer high accuracy and can track frequencies up to 5 RPS. They are equipped with continuous self-test capabilities, reference/signal loss alert, and front panel status LEDs. The card is designed for a 6U single card slot and operates as a VME P1 bus slave, powered by the VME backplane. It includes onboard I/O devices and functions such as fault/status register, clear BIT fault control, and test register.
