The SX300C, 500C, and 800C models (the 'C' denotes Contractor) are a rugged new series of amplifiers designed for smart, intensive duty cycles. They offer more power, protection, less heat, and less weight. These amplifiers incorporate 2 x toroidal output line transformers for driving constant voltage speaker systems. They feature massive precision engineered UltraFinTM heatsinks for even heat dissipation and twin variable speed DC cooling fans for optimal temperature control. The SX amplifiers are designed with a single motherboard for all circuitry, offering a clean and efficient design. They come with a Lexan-covered front panel with level controls, protection, and Clip LEDs for each channel, and an illuminated AC power switch. The rear panel includes balanced jack and XLR inputs, an Input Link switch, and 5-way binding posts. The amplifiers are built with a Monococque construction for efficiency and strength without excess weight. They are designed for long-term reliability with ultra-reliable mosfet circuitry, a rugged high current non-switching power supply, and new relay switched heat and DC protection circuits.
