The 7804c is a PCI compliant interface adapter featuring eight field selectable RS-232/422/485 asynchronous serial ports. It is designed for industrial automation and control applications, supporting data rates exceeding 1 Mbps. Users can configure the serial ports for RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 modes, allowing for long-distance device connections, noise immunity, and high data integrity. The adapter includes hardware features for RS-485 enable/disable and line termination, and comes with a 36-inch cable terminated with eight DB9M connectors. The SeaCOM for Windows software driver and utilities simplify installation and operation on Windows 7/10/11 and various Linux distributions.
