The EWSCaster is ENENSYS' solution for replacing all normal TV services in a DVB-T2 multiplex with an Emergency Warning TV service. It is a trigger inserter designed to manage emergency alerts regionally, informing terrestrial TV viewers of immediate dangers. The solution is compatible with standard TV receivers without requiring modifications or special software. The EWSCaster can generate up to 8 triggers simultaneously, each capable of referencing up to 80 regions and 255 sub-regions. It supports both in-band and out-of-band delivery of EWS triggers and offers IP input and output support. The device features continuous EWS trigger insertion, configurable insertion periods, and is designed for easy integration into network management systems.
