The Xenotest® 220/440 series of instruments are designed to accelerate the aging process of materials due to weathering, such as sunlight, temperature, and moisture. This allows for the simulation of color fading, embrittlement, or yellowing that would naturally occur over months or years in just days or weeks. The 220/220+ models are specifically designed for textile lightfastness testing, while the 440 model is versatile for testing a wide range of materials including textiles, plastics, coatings, and automotive parts. The 440 model features XenoLogic™ lamp technology for high irradiance levels and longer lamp service life. The instruments come with digital controllers and offer various accessories for calibration, specimen holders, and additional software modules.
