The aXiom AX80A-2D is an automotive-qualified capacitive multi-touch controller designed for high-performance applications across various markets, including automotive, industrial, white goods, and medical. It features an advanced acquisition engine capable of sensing regular contacts and gloves, and supports thick plastic front lenses and air gaps. The controller offers industry-leading water rejection and wet finger tracking, low emissions, and high immunity to conducted interference. It supports SPI or I2C slave connections with interrupt or LIN, and operates on 3V3 and 1V8 supplies without the need for high voltage generators. The AX80A-2D is available in LQFP128 package and comes with TouchHub2 software for design and tuning.
