The ENDURANCE C system is a solid-state C-Band radar designed for advanced meteorological applications. It features a dual polarization configuration with a 350kW equivalent transmitter power (ETP). The system operates at a frequency range of 5200 - 5900 MHz and offers a minimum range resolution of 16m. It is capable of detecting minimum velocities of up to 128 m/s with a sensitivity of -18 dBz at 30 km. The radar includes a parabolic antenna with a reflector diameter of 4.2m and a minimum gain of 45.0 dB. The transmitter is a solid-state unit with a peak power of 11 kW and an equivalent transmitter power of over 350kW. The receiver is a superheterodyne type with a minimum discernible signal of -114 dBm. The digital receiver/signal processor is a 16-bit modular, multi-channel unit with a minimum processing resolution of 15m. The system is compatible with a commercial off-the-shelf PC and offers over 60 meteorological application products.
