The PMD 400 Series is a versatile 4-line x 20-character vacuum fluorescent display designed for various applications. It features large 0.358" (9.1 mm) character size for visibility from 18 ft. (5.5 m). The series offers advanced features like storing up to 175 80-character messages, internal data logger with battery-backed RAM, and the ability to scroll, chain, blink, print, log, and center messages. It supports multiple international character sets and can be programmed via ASCII terminals, PLCs, or personal computers with RS-232C ports. The PMD 400 Series includes models with different interfaces for PLCs, such as PMD 450 for Allen-Bradley PLCs, PMD 460 for Siemens/TI PLCs, and PMD 480 with Genius Network Adapter support.
