Tuff-X Filter Media is a high-quality air filter media designed for use on the air intake side of roof-top units. It serves to protect the internal filters by keeping out insects, pollen, and debris. This media is an ideal replacement for hog hair filter media or metal washable filters. It is known for its toughness and durability, and can also be used as a Cottonwood filter screen. The media is fabricated from extra heavyweight polyester fibers bonded into a robust air filter material, making it a great alternative to hog hair filters. It is available in rolls measuring 75” wide x 60’ long with a nominal thickness of 1” and an initial resistance at 295 fpm of 0.02” w. g.
