The FLX-6688 is an efficient antenna system designed for operation at frequencies ranging from 66 to 88 MHz. It is capable of handling power outputs from 5 to 50 watts. The system features a compact antenna that is only 26 inches in length and is compatible with Technisonic TFM-66 and other transceivers. It can automatically tune the entire band in less than 4 seconds, with a cockpit light signaling precise tuning. The antenna tuner remains locked in the tuned position to avoid drift. It includes a whip antenna rod, operates from 20 to 40VDC input, and comes with a mounting kit. The power consumption is 1 amp at 28 volts while tuning and 0.05 amp on standby. The complete system weighs 2 lb. 8 oz.
